DETAILED:
Lily is a easily recognizable character, even from a distance. She has distinct red hair, which is the first thing most people notice about her. Her hair is long and hangs just past her shoulders and has a naturally curliness to it. Her hair is also silky soft, thanks to her magical shampoo she makes herself using her knowledge of potions. Lily usually wears her hair up only when she's preforming magic. She has a drawer full of bows, ribbons, and other hair accessory she uses to keep her hair out of her eyes when she's concentrating. When she isn't preforming magic, she usually lets her hair hang around her in a curtain of scarlet. Lily is also known to braid her hair when she's bored or nervous. Her eyes are a leaf green and have a wide, doe-eyed quality to them which inspired the name "Bambi" from her father.
Lily is relatively short for her age, being one of the shortest girls in her year. But this does not slow her down in the slightest. She has way of projecting her body language to make herself seem more intimidating. Mostly by crossing her arms and glaring. She certainly doesn't look like much at first glance but her silver tongue and wand work will make anyone reform their opinion about her. Other than that, Lily is a very open person. When she laughs she throws her whole body into it; her whole body shakes, she throws her head back, she stumbles to the side a little. When she's sad she'll curl herself into a little ball and duck her head down so no one can see her cry. She wear her heart on her sleeve for everyone to see.

DETAILED:
Lily Evans is the human embodiment of a fright train or a particularly mouthy beaver. A force of nature unto itself. She is a classic Griffindor in the fact that she is courageous and never falters in the face of danger. She always stands up for those in need and has a strong detest for bullies. Her year mates joke that Lily is a lioness in disguise. Her strong morals always dictate her choices in life and usually never lead her astray. Lily is a technical pacifist, a person who is capable of getting her hands dirty if the situation calls for it, but she will only kill at the last resort. Instead, she is a believer in non violence and tends to rely on the ability to defuse a situation through talking rather than fighting.
But she is not naïve enough to believe that all situations can be solved through words alone. In fact, Lily possesses a very realistic outlook on life. She was raised in a muggle household which earned her a sceptic and sensible outlook on life. She is very practical in nature and isn't one for having her head up in the clouds. The only place where Lily can be considered idealistic is her opinion on other people. She is the kind of girl who always sees the best in people and believes in second chances. Lily is a very generous person in spirit and materialism. She enjoys giving to others and when she stays home for the holidays, she spends most of her time volunteering to help those in need.
While Lily can be charitable and compassionate, she doesn't always act this way. At school Lily throws herself into her school work with abandon. Most of her time is spent in the school library, devouring any book she can get her hands on. The thing about Lily is that she loves learning. She isn't a huge fan of homework and test but she loves learning something new. Going to Hogwarts is like a dream come true. She excels in most of her classes but has a special innate talent for charms and potions.
Lily works herself tirelessly into getting things done. She has been known to go overboard with her school work and will spend entire days in the library surviving on coffee alone when involved in a project. Her destructive habits when it comes to studying usually leave her crashing for several hours before she finally resembles a human being once more. Needless to say, Lily holds herself to high standards. She has always pushed herself to her limits when it comes to her school work and has countless times been called an over achiever. This also makes Lily an absolute monster when it comes to competition. She can be down right cut-throat when she is pitted against someone else when it comes to any contests.
This leads to Lily's hot temper. She is a rather impatient person and when someone irritates her, she is quick to retaliate. Combined with her stubbornness, Lily isn't the kind of opponent you want to face. She has a sharp tongue and is filled with drawling sarcasm and sass. Her quick wit is usually enough to defuse a situation but Lily isn't shy when it comes to using spells to get her way. Especially if she's standing up for someone. Her marks in charms are high for a reason, after all.

FATHER: Gregory Evans
MOTHER: Delilah Evans
SIBLINGS: Petunia Evans
OTHER(S): None
DETAILED:
Lily Elizabeth Evans was born on 30 January to Delilah Evans, a secretary, and Gregory Evans, a florist. Her family was modest in every sense of the word. A simple couple with two daughters, a simple house, with simple jobs. Lily and Petunia went to a local school together and walked hand-in-hand together back to their home every evening. The two sister were as thick as thieves in their first few years. Petunia turned out to be an excellent older sister and loved nothing more than holding her little sister's hand as she patiently taught her something new. Things quickly changed when Lily meet Severus Snape at the age of nine. Severus quickly recognized Lily for what she was, a witch, and wasted no time filling her in about the magical world. Lily showed a remarkable talent for controlling her underage magic and delighted in showing off her abilities to her sister. Petunia was thrilled at first but quickly soured when she did not display the same magical talent as her sister. Lily took pity on her sister and encouraged her to wait for several years until she got her Hogwarts letter. She was confident her sister would be accepted at Hogwarts, but it was not meant to be. The years passed and Petunia never received her letter.
At the age of eleven Lily received her letter and was over the moon with the prospect of going to Hogwarts. She arrived on platform nine and three quarters with Severus at her side and eagerly jumped on the train, ready to start learning magic. It was on that first train ride that someone hurled the term "mudblood" in her direction. From that moment on, Lily knew she was going to have her work cut out for her. Lily's years at Hogwarts were largely unremarkable. She fell into a nice group of friends consisting of her other year mates in Gryffindor and even several friends in the houses. Of course Severus was glued to Lily's side despite her blood status.
Lily caught the attention of several teachers, most notably Horus Slughorn who quickly invited her into the Slug Club. She also showed an amazing talent for Charms and worked hard to get to the top in all of her classes. Not even the arrogant brat Potter was going to bring her down. In fifth year, things took a turn for the worse. Once again Lily stepped up to defend Severus from the likes of the bully Potter. When Lily tried to herd Severus away, he snapped and called her a "filthy mudblood" to Lily's shock. That was the moment their friendship dissolved. Lily refused to forgive Severus for his words, citing that she would never had thought he would stoop so low.
Now entering her sixth year at Hogwarts, Lily is read to put all of last year's turmoil behind her and focus on the future.

"Give it back to me right now, Potter!" First year Lily Evans shrieked at her opponent who was currently racing around Griffindor common room aboard a broom and holding Lily's favourite Christmas scarf at arm's length. It trailed behind him wildly, hitting the rafters which probably hadn't been cleaned in years and were filled with filth and even worse, spiders. Lily was furious. Her sister had gotten her that scarf for Christmas years ago, back when they were still on friendly terms. Lily cherished it for that fact alone. But now big-head Potter was flinging it around like it was a banner. Merlin, if he ripped it, she was going to rip him.
Ignoring the impossibility of that threat, Lily squared her shoulders and glared up at James demandingly. "It's November Evans! Why are you even wearing it?" James shouted as he preformed a spectacular barrel roll around a wayward pillar. Lily had to grudgingly admit that he certainly had a talent for flying.
"First years aren't even allowed brooms at school, so why are you even riding one, you idiot?" Lily screeched, stomping her foot in frustration.
"It's a school broom - duh!"
"Oh that's much better." She drawled sarcastically, rolling her eyes dramatically. "I'm sure Professor McGonnegal will understand!" Lily was starting to become fed up now. James Potter and his insistence that it was entirely too early for her to get excited for Christmas was rubbish. It was almost Christmas and she had every right to wear whatever she pleased or put up whatever kind of decorations she pleased or hum whatever kind of tunes she pleased. Petunia had made fun of her for six years for being too excited about the holidays, and Lily wasn’t about to let dumb James Potter bring her down.
She looked around the room for something to help her situation, and her eyes settled on a sturdy-looking pillow sitting atop the chair. Lily grabbed it and waited for her opportune moment. As soon as James flew back within range, she flung it at him with all her might. It was a direct hit, and James toppled off his broom onto the only somewhat forgiving carpet of the common room. Lily darted forward and grabbed scarf from James' limp hand and stuck her tongue out at him before turning around to leave. All the while James stared at her in awe.
