Where can I find information about the site?

You have a couple of options. You can browse as you please through each board, or you can hover over the large site banner and it will bring up a bunch of various information. There is a welcome banner, staff profile links, links to important threads, updates, and spotlights!

When is this site set?

The site is set in the year 1977, during the Marauders' sixth year at Hogwarts.

Do I have to use a celebrity face claim?

Yes, you do. We will only accept notable celebrity claims for each character, and every character must have their own account.

What are the steps that I need to get accepted?

First, choose your canon character or decide on what kind of OC you would like to make. Fill out the application template and await for approval from a staff member. Once approved, you will be directed to the three claim threads to fill out any applicable claims that your character requires. After those are filled out, have fun!

Is there a set site-wide plot?

Currently, other than the fact that there is no threat from Lord Voldemort, no! We don't have a site wide plot to offer additional guidance on how your characters should react to their timeline/events around the boards. This can change! Check for updates under the banner and any special announcements from the staff! You are also welcome to pitch ideas to the staff and we will discuss it.

I noticed that I have a funny gold coin in my profile; what is that?

That is a Galleon icon! We have the monetary system set up so you will be earning galleons with each IC post you make! Only IC boards have the earning feature active, so make sure to keep posting to get extra money into Gringotts!

What are the Galleons for?

They are for the Shop! Among the links at the very top of your page, and at the bottom left hand corner, there will be links to head to the site's shop. There you can purchase a whole array of goodies such as broomsticks, wands, pets, and a bunch of other things! Keep checking back as more items will be added periodically.

I noticed that if I hover over my avatar, it brings up extra information. How do I edit that?

Simple! The main image, your primary avatar, can be 220 pixels wide by 350 pixel high. To edit the information that shows when you hover, go to edit your personal information and there are extra fields to fill out including asking for links to your application and plotter!
